NYT Admits Errors in Blog Post About Ron Paul (NYT)
Editor's Note: A post in The Medium blog that appeared on Monday about the Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul and his purported adoption by white supremacist and neo-Nazi groups contained several errors. The original post should not have been published with ... unverified assertions and without any response from Paul.
K-Mart Tailors TV Ads for Different Audiences (AdAge)
Tara Walpert, president of Visible World, said K-Mart wanted to take advantage of the platform's rapid-response capability, which allows a marketer to change its creative on a dime. This came in especially handy for ads running on Nick at Nite, which sees different demographics tuning in to its programming as the prime-time programming schedule progresses.
Longtime Sports Broadcaster Stu Nahan Dies (AP via Hollywood Reporter)
Longtime Los Angeles sportscaster Stu Nahan, also familiar to movie fans for his appearances in the series of Rocky films, died Wednesday. He was 81. A former minor league hockey goalie, Nahan had been a sports anchor for three different television stations in Los Angeles. He retired from TV in 1999, and most recently did pre- and post-game radio shows for the Los Angeles Dodgers.
