Newsfeed: Update

Bushnell_Candace.jpgSex and the City Author Gets Sirius (NYDN)
Candace Bushnell, who spawned Carrie Bradshaw and a whole generation of women talking frankly about sex, is joining Howard Stern on Sirius Satellite Radio. She will host Candace Bushnell's Sex, Success, and Sensibility, a weekly, four-hour talk show, debuting this spring on Sirius Stars Channel 102.

Buchwald Continues Living It Up in Hospice (WaPo)
Art Buchwald: I am known in the hospice as The Man Who Wouldn't Die. How long they allow me to stay here is another problem. An analysis of magazine circulation in the second-half of 2005 reveals 39 magazines up and 86 down in single copy sales; 75 up and 60 down in subscription sales.

Ex-Apprentice to Join CNBC (B&C)
2005 Apprentice contestant Rebecca Jarvis will join CNBC as an associate reporter. Jarvis, who narrowly lost last season's competition to join one of Donald Trump's companies, had been a financial journalist in Chicago before the show and has freelanced since then.

David Bloom's Widow Raising Awareness of His Fatal Disease (USAT)
During the 2003 Iraq invasion, NBC correspondent David Bloom called his wife, Melanie, complaining of leg cramps. Two days later, he died from a pulmonary embolism. This week, she kicks off a campaign in his honor for the Coalition to Prevent Deep Vein Thrombosis.
