Pennsylvania-based company that provides consulting, training, and blinded reader services to the pharmaceutical and biotech industries seeks PR practitioner with contacts at relevant trade and business press for small, ongoing, freelance PR project. Responsibilities will include drafting, editing and posting press releases; soliciting interviews; researching potential speaking opportunities; and, occasional help with copywriting and preparing marketing materials such as speaker abstracts and the companys newsletter. Ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience representing companies in the biotech and pharmaceutical space. Knowledge and understanding of radiology and the use of medical images in clinical trials is a must. 10 40 hours per month, depending on news cycles. Candidate will be asked to provide info on friendly contacts in our media category, and should be able to provide industry-specific writing samples. Negotiable hourly rate.
