| Job Requirements |
An international law firm that specializes in investment management, finance, M&A/private equity, and litigation is seeking an excellent editor and manager to plan, oversee and produce print, electronic and web-based communications. Strong copy editing and facility with complex subject matter are essential. A law degree is helpful. The position can be either in New York, NY or Philadelphia, PA.
Key responsibilities are to:
copy edit and oversee the production of newsletters, brochures, and publications
help to identify key constituencies; develop messages; ensure consistency, quality and frequency of outreach using a variety of tools
assist in the development of communications plans to build business
leverage and repurpose attorney work product
oversee content for and manage the external web site
manage design and production of publications and branding materials
assist in the adoption of social media
oversee graphic design and small editorial group
Must be able to serve as an internal consultant, work effectively with team members, write/edit deftly, and manage a fast-moving function in a demanding, professional environment. Ten-plus (10+) years of experience is necessary.
