Do you know how to reach the growing "transformational" community interested in consciousness and change? Come join our team of "evolutionaries."
This position will report to the Publisher and oversees online and off-line marketing and publicity activities for Evolver LLC -- publisher of the websites Reality Sandwich and Evolver.net -- including social media networking, event and content promotion, advertising, partnerships, and subscription program development.
Responsibilities include:
* Promotion of online content and off-line events to media, blogs, and podcasts
* Orchestrate sponsorships, partnerships, and advertising to increase visibility of Reality Sandwich and Evolver.net
* Membership development of online subscription service
* Social network promotions and link cultivation
* Drive SEO and improved search engine effectiveness
* Street team campaigns
Candidates should have the following experience and skills:
* 3-5 years relevant marketing experience
* Expertise in web and social network marketing strategies
* Ability to write effective marketing materials and press releases
* Ability to be self-directed, able to prioritize and plan work activities and use time efficiently.
* Familiarity with the communities Evolver draws from for its audience, including: Burning Man, slow foods, tantric practioners, yoga and body work, urban farming, festival culture, street theater pranksters, sustainable design, shamanic explorers, energy healing, consciousness research, digital media makers, complimentary currencies, utopian technologies, and visionary art.

Evolver LLC is a social media company that publishes two websites, the web magazine Reality Sandwich and the social network Evolver.net, and produces tele-seminars and off-line events that address subjects from sustainability to shamanism, alternative realities to alternative energy. Over the past two years we have built a global community that brings over 100,000 unique visitors to our sites each month, and includes a network of 30 regional groups that convene monthly for coordinated off-line events. The company is expanding its activities, adding original video content and a subscription service, and is looking for a marketing professional who shares our team's interest in consciousness expansion and social change. |
