Job Requirements Basic Function:

The Digital Communications Manager is responsible for developing and executing primarily the digital and a variety of non-digital elements of the brand position and voice of the resort and the inn. The manager works with the Director and is responsible for assisting with the planning, development and implementation of all of the company's marketing strategies, marketing communications, both external and internal.

The Digital Communications Manager oversees development and implementation of support materials and services in the area of marketing on a project by project basis. Manages the efforts of the Communication Associate on a day-to-day basis.

As the Managing Director and the Company's voice and vision must be clear, the Communications team must ensure that all aspects of communications are covered to ensure that the company's message has been delivered successfully.



Administrative Responsibilities:

Marketing, Communications and Public Relations
- Oversee all internet based marketing initiatives (web site, e-blasts, web maximization and presence).
- Ensure information and presentation on multiple websites is current and accurate at all times.
- Participates in all of the resort and inn's marketing, communications and materials including websites, in-room technology, electronic communications, printed publications and printed collateral
- Ensure articulation of resort and inn's desired image and position, assure consistent communication of image and position throughout the company, and assure communication of image and position to all constituencies, both internal and external.
- Participates in the editorial direction, design, production and distribution of all of the resort and inn's publications.
- Liaise with resort's Marketing, Internet, and consulting firms.
- Leads projects as assigned..
- Supports the coordination of the appearance of all of the resort's print and electronic materials such as letterhead, use of logo, brochures, web site, etc
- Develop, coordinate and oversee programs, technical assistance and resource materials to assist Group Sales in the marketing, communications and positioning of their activities.
- Assist in generating all copy for collateral, menus, sales and promotional pieces.







Requirements:

Minimum of 5-7 years experience in marketing, communications or public relations with demonstrated success, preferably in the luxury resort sector. A Bachelors degree in journalism, marketing, public relations preferred. Graduate degree in a related field is desirable.

- Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in the design and execution of marketing and communications activities..
- Demonstrated successful experience writing marketing copy.
- Experience overseeing the design and production of print materials and publications.
