I’m fat and happy. Thanks, NBA!
Just when you thought the world would leave accused serial bigot, philanderer and new billionaire Donald Sterling alone comes this report (from TMZ, no less).
Apparently, Donald Sterling has a history of racist commentary and sexual harassment.
It feels like only yesterday when one V. Stiviano adopted the persona of a Daft Punk backup dancer, recorded Sterling re-enacting a scene from ‘American History X’, and proceed to help the NBA
make him rich beyond his wildest dreams force him to sell the LA Clippers. That was a forced hurl off the cliff into a sea of prejudicial despair.
But, as we hear in game shows, there’s more…
Meet Maiyo Maya King, the
opportunistic and fake in-love woman pictured here with Senor Sterling.
She was an employee of his former team who recently decided to earn her 15 minutes from his current status as the world’s lowest-hanging fruit. She claims to have dated Sterling from 2005 to 2011 and recently remember some choice events from their time together:
King claims during their relationship Sterling made comments about her former African-American husband, asking her “How could you be married to a black man?” King says she had kids with her ex and Sterling asked, “Why would you bring black people into the world?”
King goes on, saying Sterling told her, “I want to take you out of the black world and put you into the white world.” And she says, when they would fight he would tell her, “move back to the ghetto with a black man.”
She once shared Stiviano’s boyfriend, and now she shares her attorney Gloria Allred.
King claims that, during her employment, Sterling grew bored with V. and offered King bonuses if she could arouse his interest.
She also claims he said things like, “Black people do not take care of their children. All they do is sit at home and smoke dope.” And she claims he said, “Mexicans just do drive-by shootings.”
While discussing her employment, Sterling introduced her to “V,” a woman he called his girlfriend.
But contrary to King’s arrangement, which the suit states would pay her $10,000 a month, Sterling “dangled money” only if she would have sex with him. She refused, and she was fired on May 7, the suit states.
Maybe these three can take their act on the road. Surely there are headlines left to write.
