Cision, the popular media research/list building company, has announced new features to its CisionPoint offering. New metrics break down “average visitors per month, average time spent, monthly site views, and number of in-bound links from sites and users in a particular industry.” In addition, a service called “Social Media Engagement Level” measures the “extent that visitors from an industry or interest group engage based on the number of industry-related comments and commenters and size of discussion threads.”

Lastly, “more than 10,000 profiles of social media influencers and crucial data including journalists’ and bloggers’ Twitter names,” have been added to CisionPoint’s database.

Note to PR pros: CisionPoint is a seperate offering than Cision’s media database offering, formerly known as Bacon’s. Read more here.
