CNBC PR VP: We Made a Mistake

There’s a reason us PR folk are super focused on spelling and grammar – sometimes a mistake comes back to bite you.
We know, because we’ve had more than our share of typos on this site, although we’ve been getting better!
Courtesy of TVNewser, CNBC misspelled disgraced former Tyco CEO Dennis Kozlowski’s name in a Wall Street Journal ad touting his, “first interview from behind prison walls.”
And now for the damage control: Brian Steel, CNBC’s VP of Public Relations, told TVNewser, “We made a mistake. The ad did not go through the regular editing process.” See, that wasn’t that hard, was it?
