‘Cosmo’ Launching in the Middle East

Cosmopolitan Middle East is launching in March, Hearst announced today.  It will be published in partnership with ITP Consumer Publishing – which has already partnered with Hearst on Mideast versions of Harper’s Bazaar and Esquire – with an initial print run of 15,000.

The new magazine will be targeted to a young, female reader with information about health, relationships, entertainment, fashion, and additional women’s mag topics.

Cosmo announced the launch of a Mongolia version last month. As The New York Times notes, Cosmo might have to tone down some of its racier content for the latest iteration. The magazine is published in 61 international editions.
