Here’s your chance to head back to school. Duke University is hiring an executive director of marketing and communications.
In this role, you’ll serve as chief marketing and communications officer for the Office of University Development. You’ll be responsible for developing university-wide marketing and communications plans, which support philanthropic giving to the school. In addition to evaluating the effectiveness of campaign communications, you’ll oversee the strategy for fund-raising publications, mailings, websites, videos, ad campaigns and stewardship materials, too.
To be considered, you should have a minimum of ten years of progressive experience in development and communications, preferably in a university setting. Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to juggle multiple deadlines are must-haves. If you have web, digital and social experience with a sense of humor to boot, apply here.
