Facebook Hiring a Communications VP

Anyone looking to take over communications and general counsel for the New York Yankees of social networking?

Facebook PR director Brandee Barker delivered this message that appeared in a Wall Street Journal story today: “Mr. Zuckerberg is also seeking to hire a new general counsel and a vice president of communications and public policy…”

From Valleywag: “The position’s so new that it’s not yet listed on Facebook’s website. Is this how Zuck told his spokeswoman she wasn’t getting the VP job? Harsh, dude.”

However, it seems like Zuckerberg has been doing OK on the PR front recently. Check out this CNET interview where he does a good job of answering the leading questions by saying a lot but refusing to take the bait.
