Somehow, when self-important, gag-worthy lines like “I am on my journey; all I have to do is follow my passions, and all the right things will come to me,” and “I just need my Youtube channel to go viral” are delivered by tiny, fluffy kittens instead of over-privileged 20-somethings, it’s not only tolerable, but pretty effing adorable.
The below spoof of HBO’s hit Girls was created by Pet Collective, the same group of animal-loving cinematic geniuses who brought you such cuddly re-casts as Lion King with kittens and the recent parody of Home Alone as told by pugs.
Not only is the video irresistible, but it’s not bad advertising for the new season of the real, human version of the show, which is set to begin airing on HBO on the twelfth of this month.
Basically, it’s Friday, and we thought you might enjoy watching this as much as we did. Happy (almost) weekend!
