Golden Goose Day-Trader Pleads Guilty
Jamil Bouchareb, one of the people connected to former Lehman broker Matthew Devlin pleaded guilty yesterday of pulling in more than $1.5 million by using insider information taken from Brunswick Group Partner Nina Devlin, apparently without her knowledge.
Bouchareb shared the info with then girlfriend, Maria Checa, a Playboy Playmate.
In December, the story rocked the PR world when it was revealed that Matthew Devlin and a small group of friends including Bouchareb referred to Nina as the “golden goose” and used information about 13 of Brunswick’s clients to pull in $4.8 million in profits.
