Ketchum Acquires Moscow Firm
Ketchum has announced another industry acquisition: it has acquired Moscow-based firm Maslov PR. The firm will be rebranded as Ketchum Maslov and led by Michael Maslov, MD and founder of Maslov PR, and his business partner Serguey Chumin. They will report to Jon Higgins, Ketchum senior partner and CEO, international.
The firms have had an existing 15-year affiliate relationship. Maslov was previously a full-service agency offering services in areas including brand marketing communications, public affairs, and crisis communications. The firm established a relationship with the Russian government in 2006, working on behalf of the Russian presidency of the G8. Ketchum Maslov will continue to work with the Russian Federation.
