Roll Call: Ketchum Pleon, APCO, and Showtime
Tasso Enzweiler has been named Ketchum Pleon‘s MD in the Düsseldorf office. It’s one of the agency’s largest offices with 125 staffers. The office’s previous MD was Dirk Popp, who was named president of Ketchum Pleon Germany. Enzweiler was previously the MD of Hering Schuppener Consulting for five years.
Sir Liam Donaldson, England’s former chief medical officer and the British government’s former chief medical adviser has joined APCO Worldwide‘s International Advisory Council. While serving this dual role, Sir Donaldson played a role in the nation’s discussions and policies around stem cell research, smoke-free public spaces, and other issues.
Frank Pintauro and Donald Buckley have been named the co-heads of Showtime‘s marketing division. The previous EVP Len Fogge is believed to be heading to NBC to work with his former boss Bob Greenblatt. Richard Licata, another former Showtime staffer, recently left his post as VP of corp comms at Showtime to join NBC. [via Broadcasting & Cable]

Galen Jones has been named SVP of Oxygen Research, a position that puts him in charge of insights and research for the Oxygen Media’s marketing, digital and new media, and other areas. He will report to Tony Cardinale, EVP of brand planning and strategic insights for NBCU Entertainment and Digital Networks and Integrated Media. Jones has worked for Court TV and AOL, among other places.
Pete Spande has been named chief marketing officer at Federated Media Publishing. He had been senior vice president of sales there. (mb)
