Ketchum has announced its majority stake acquisition of Sampark PR, which has offices in New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, and other cities as well as 80 associate offices across its wide Indian network. The firm was founded in 1994 by Bela Rajan and N.S. Rajan, who will stay on as director and MD respectively and retain a stake in the firm. It will be known as Ketchum Sampark. Ketchum has made a couple of international acquisitions in recent months.

Also, Ruder Finn has acquired The Rogers Group, a PR and public affairs firm based in L.A., building up the firm’s West Coast presence. The Rogers Group will merge with Ruder Finn’s Los Angeles and San Francisco offices. The L.A. office will be called Rogers Ruder Finn and will be run by Ron Rogers, former CEO of The Rogers Group. Howard Solomon will continue on as MD of Ruder Finn/West. Rogers Ruder Finn clients include Bosch Home Appliances, Dole Packaged Foods, and the Los Angeles County Fair.
