Moore Named H&K’s Houston GM

Michael Moore has been hired to serve as GM of Hill & Knowlton‘s Houston office, responsible for client service, business development, and operations.

Moore has a long history in politics, working as Mayor Bill White‘s chief of staff throughout his six-year term (2004 through 2009) and managed his campaign for governor last year. He’s also run other political campaigns in the past, including President Clinton’s in 1992, and was a presidential appointee to the Energy Department.

Moore also has crisis communications experience, working with the Mayor as he dealt with Hurricanes Katrina, Rita, and Ike.
