FOLIO: is reporting that Nielsen Business Media, home to Adweek, Brandweek and Mediaweek, among other publications is considering a reorganization of the company’s content strategy. A Nielsen spokesperson told FOLIO: that this could include, “the creation of a content center across the organization,” leading the publication to hint at potential layoffs or the combination of news desks.

Reached for comment, Marisa Grimes, Communications Director at Nielsen Business Media tells PRNewer, “At this time, there are no plans specifically to combine news desks for Adweek, Brandweek and Mediaweek.” Elaborating, Grimes states, “Our strategy is to capitalize on the collective resources of all our brands and work together in a more integrated way. This will allow us to increase the quality and quantity of content delivered across all our platforms and invest in new resources.”
