Obama’s New Press Secretary

the National Journal’s Linda Douglass is joining the Obama campaign as its traveling press secretary. Her husband, John Phillips, has long been an Obama supporter. She is the former ABC News Congressional correspondent.

“I see this as a moment of transformational change in the country and I have spent my lifetime sitting on the sidelines watching people attempt to make change. I just decided that I can’t sit on the sidelines anymore,” she told The Atlantic.
