An update to our story from yesterday. Transocean, which owned the oil rig that exploded of the coast of Louisiana on April 20th, has engaged with global communications agency Financial Dynamics (FD).
FD managing director Lou Colasuonno, and former editor-in-chief of the New York Post and Daily News, told PRNewser today that the agency was hired within 24-hours of the tragedy. “We are providing Transocean with strategic communications and pubic affairs, and helping them on the ground in Houston, New Orleans and Washington, D.C.,” he said.
As we reported yesterday, BP has engaged with Brunswick Group, while Halliburton is handling all PR internally.
