Just as Dell is aiming to streamline PR and marketing efforts with its "DaVinci" project with WPP, Yahoo! is engaging in a somewhat similar effort, as it has put the PR contract for its network division under review.

According to PR Week, "Golin-Harris, Ketchum, and Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide are all pitching for the business." A decision will come later this month.

Yahoo's VP of corporate communications, Jennifer Stephens, told PR Week,"Instead of using smaller agencies that we've worked with - that we have been happy with, to a certain extent, in different areas - we're going for a more holistic approach and looking at some bigger agencies that might be able to fill that responsibility."
