(200,000 to see Obama in Berlin, via The Caucus blog)

After a few rocky weeks, Barack Obama showed again today why he is the most media-friendly candidate in history: he drew an audience of 200,000, waving flags and chanting his name, in Germany.

Contrast this to the one reporter who greeted John McCain upon his arrival in New Hampshire, followed by some spotlight stealing by Bob Barr and it's hard to imagine how he could lose in November. Yet pundits are reminding supporters that publicity eggs and ballot chickens aren't the same thing and it's likely to be a squeaker.

Obama appears to be melting a few hardline Hillary supporters, including Salon's Editor-in-Chief Joan Walsh.

We'll keep watching this disciplined and prepared campaign and their communications team as they round the corner through France today and back to the U.S., and see if they grant the right access at the right time, and not upset the press corps.
