PR Not Included in Bloomberg’s Agency Review

As Bloomberg L.P. seeks to re-brand itself as a company that does more than just selling and operating financial news terminals, the company is officially on the hunt for an advertising agency.

“The agency-of-record Bloomberg settles on will be tasked with building up attention for the company’s newswire, the cable network Bloomberg TV, Bloomberg radio on XM and Sirius (NSDQ: SIRI), and for its existing magazine, Bloomberg Markets,” reports PaidContent.

Will P.R. be considered in this review? Nope. “This is for Advertising and Marketing, not P.R.” Bloomberg’s Chief Communications Officer Judith Czelusniak told PRNewser. Czelusniak said Bloomberg uses “a few different P.R. firms for different purposes,” but that the company doesn’t “disclose PR agency relationships.”
