President Obama’s Twitter townhall will begin shortly, and the #AskObama page is geared up and ready to go. Twitter has got a Townhall Tweetup page set up where you can see some of who’s following. The hashtag has questions ranging from “What is your administration going to do to stem the tide of discriminatory, anti-immigrant laws coming out of state legislatures?” from the ACLU to “Poker is not a crime. Do you support licensing and regulating online #poker?” from dleeret.

The GOP is also getting in on the action. House Speaker John Boehner has launched a live feed for questions and has already tweeted the President “…will you admit the ‘stimulus’ was a mistake?” Other members of the Republican party have taken to Twitter with similar and equally productive inquiries.
