The pitch of the week goes to KMR Communications for their attempt to tie the HairMax LaserComb to the paradigm shift of the WWW. KMR's client list is a formidable synergy of media experts, workout devices, day spas, and beauty products. However, they didn't Google me before offering to send a HairMax to "test and review". I'm too far gone to benefit from the scalp zapping comb.

An account exec included PRNewser on a bcc pitch with the following lede:

The speedy growth of technology has enabled it to pervade American's lives in ways previously confined to Sci-Fi movies. According to the 11th annual "Mindset List" released by Wisconsin-based Beloit College, current college students (those born after 1990) don't remember life without the World Wide Web at their fingertips or without caller ID; people born only a few years earlier clearly recall rifling through encyclopedias for their homework and answering the phone with no idea who's calling.
