Fenton Communications announced today that George Lakoff will be joining the firm as a strategic consultant. "George Lakoff literally wrote the book on communicating progressive values," said founder and CEO David Fenton in a statement sent to PRnewser.

The book? "Don't Think of an Elephant: Know Your Values and Frame the Debate--The Essential Guide for Progressives," which has become a must read for Democratic campaign strategists.

Ryan Grim at Politico also weighed in, describing Fenton as a "liberal PR juggernaut that represents MoveOn.org and other major lefty groups."
