PRSA T3 Conference: ProfNet Vs. HARO Dispelled

PRNewser is at the PRSA T3 Tech conference in New York, were we’ll shortly be speaking on the “Prominent PR Bloggers Speak Out” panel.

Before our panel begins, Peter Shankman, of Help-A-Reporter.com fame, is delivering his keynote, and quickly dispelled any tension between his service and competitor, PR Newswire’s ProfNet. After a joking intro, where he came out in a bullet proof vest to mock the rumors of a potential showdown, Shankman stated, “I have no problem whatsoever with PR Newswire.”

Moving on to the new media landscape, Shankman says, “I don’t believe social media exists. There is simply life. As different as it is to send out a press release as it is to send a 140 character Tweet to AdWeek, it’s still just life, it’s networking.”
