PRWeek Agency of the Year and Their “Open” Office

Florida boutique agency RBB PR has already generated quite some buzz this year by beating out some heavyweights for PRWeek’s Agency of the Year Award. Yesterday, the agency landed additional ink on their own behalf, with a feature on their unique office design in the Miami Herald.

The 28-person agency has an “open” layout, with no offices or cublicles. Most emloyees work out of a “family room,” general area with cluster of shared spaces.

With the layout, also comes an issue or two. “Some people get really offended if they have a messy co-worker whose stuff starts to encroach on their space,” RBB Managing partner Christine Barney told the Herald.

Look for a PRNewser interiew with RBB coming soon.
