Publicis Reports 8.3 Percent Organic Growth for 2010

Publicis Groupe reported 8.3 percent organic growth for 2010 in its earnings release today. Revenue for the year was over €5 billion (about $7.38 billion), with net income up 30.5 percent to €526 million (about $716.9 million). Operating margin was up 25.9 percent to €856 million (about $1.2 billion).

The company also reported its Q4 results, with organic growth coming in even higher at 12.5 percent. Revenue was up 23 percent for the quarter to €1.56 billion (nearly $2.13 billion).

The earnings release attributed a good deal of the company’s success to the digital space.

There was also growth across all regions, with North America posting 9.9 percent organic growth.
In a statement, Publicis CEO and chairman Maurice Lévy said:
Investment will be aimed first and foremost at consolidating our two growth pillars: the digital sector in which we intend to strengthen our leadership position, and high-growth countries in which we must increase our presence even more rapidly.
