The ratings are in for television’s two PR reality shows, and it’s not looking good so far for fashion PR agency owner Kelly Cutrone.
Her “Kell on Earth” debuted on Bravo to an audience of 226,000 viewers. Episode two spiked at 560,000 viewers, and episode three had 372,000 viewers.
Meanwhile, “SPINdustry” debuted on E! this past Sunday to 2.53 million viewers, and 1.25 million viewers in the 18-34 demo. “Kell On Earth” peaked with 215,000 viewers in the 18-34 demo for episode two.
“SPINdustry” features Kim Kardashian‘s buddies Jonathan Cheban and Simon Huck of Command PR. E! director of original programming and series development Jason Sarlanis told PRNewser earlier this month, “If this show performs nicely we’d love to see it expanded into a series.”
Despite the solid ratings, an E! PR rep told PRNewser today that no decisions have been made to continue the show past one episode.
That being said, “Kell On Earth” still has four more episodes yet to air, so who knows what kind of fireworks we’ll see that could boost ratings. Also, “SPINdustry” only had one episode to promote. If E! does decide to produce more episodes, it will be interesting to see if the ratings hold.
Nevertheless, Cheban has been in full promo mode, as almost every post on his Twitter feed as of late has been about the show.
Cutrone is doing her part as well, as she wrote on her Facebook page yesterday:
