Richard Edelman Tops PR Power List, Again

Edelman Worldwide CEO Richard Edelman again anchors the annual PRWeek PR Power List by maintaining pole position.

More than half of the list of 25 are newcomers to ranking, including a refreshing five women at the very top: Marcia Silverman CEO of Ogilvy, Donna Imperato CEO or Cohn & Wolfe, Kathy Bloomgarden, Co-CEO of Ruder Finn, Maril MacDonald, CEO of Gagin MacDonald, and the glamorous Irish techie Aedhmar Hynes, CEO of Text100.

You don’t have to be a CEO to make the list, and a contentious relationship with the New York Times isn’t a disqualification. Fox TV’s head of corporate comm Brian Lewis made it by assembling “arguably the most aggressive PR team that has ever existed.” Lewis and his head of Fox News Channel PR Irena Briganti practice a very visible form of Method PR.
