Kodak chief comms officer Gerard Meuchner has stepped down from his post, The Wall Street Journal reports. A number of people have left the company, including three directors, as the company tries to sell or license some of its patents in the hopes of avoiding a bankruptcy filing. Kodak has been downgraded by Moody’s and the stock price was below 50 cents yesterday. Meuchner joined Kodak in 2000. It’s unclear where he’s heading.
Euro RSCG Worldwide PR has promoted Dalton Dorné to CMO of the firm. Dorné has been with the firm for four years, most recently serving as regional marketing director of Euro RSCG Asia Pacific in Singapore. In this new role, Dorné will launch the ERWW PR Marketing Council and serve as chief of staff to CEO Marian Salzman.
Matthew Henson has rejoined GolinHarris as executive director leading a number of accounts across the corporate communications space. He’ll be based in Boston but reporting to to Jennifer Cohan, MD in New York. Henson was with GH for nearly 10 years before leaving in 2009 to join Monster.
Shana Harris has been promoted to COO of Warschawski. The role includes oversight of the firm’s daily operations and maintaining client service levels. Harris has been with the firm for 13 years and has worked with clients including Black & Decker, MaggieMoo’s Ice Cream, and Century 21.
The Oriella PR Network, an agency group founded by Brands2Life and Horn Group in 2006, has added two agencies: New Zealand’s Botica Butler Raudon Public Relations and Moscow’s Buman Media. Botica Butler Raudon clients include Symantec and Intel. Buman Media clients include Adobe Systems and Headhunter. The Oriella PR Network is comprised of more than a dozen agencies around the globe.
Amy Calhoun has been promoted to principal at Stanton Communications. She will continue to lead the Washington D.C. office and play an enhanced role in strategic planning and business development. She joined the firm in 1998. Patrick Brady has also been promoted to SVP. He joined the firm in 2009 and will continue working with clients in the healthcare, industrial materials, and hospitality areas.
