Roll Call: MSLGroup, M Booth, Hearst, and More

We start with sad news today: Michael Sullivan, MSLGroup‘s North American consumer practice leader, has died. He joined the firm in 2010 and was preparing for a move to London to work on a P&G project for the firm. MSLGroup’s Renee Wilson has kind words for Sullivan on the firm’s blog. And memorial service information is available here.

Katie Barr Cornish has joined M Booth as VP of the firm’s travel practice. Clients include U.S. Virgin Islands, Wyndham Rewards, and Alliance Global Assistance. She will also help with business development efforts for the practice. She was previously VP at Lou Hammond & Associates, working with clients including Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group and The Waldorf-Astoria.

Dana Lenetz has joined Hearst as associate director of PR for Cosmopolitan and Marie Claire. She was previously the PR manager for Swiss watch brand TAG Heuer.

Paul Dyck has joined APCO Worldwide as SVP in the government relations practice. Dyck had been working with the firm as a senior counselor. Prior to his work with APCO, he was the Department of Commerce’s deputy assistant secretary for Europe and Eurasia. He has also served as an advisor to former Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice.

B2B firm DiGennaro Communications has partnered with London’s Eulogy! to provide cross-border PR services, employee exchange programs, and other joint services. The partnership launches with two clients: WPP firms MEC and The Brand Union.

Cohn & Wolfe has had two executive changes to its team. Liz Beck has been promoted to head of the U.S. consumer practice. She was previously the EVP and head of the New York consumer practice. She’s been with the firm for 12 years. And Anna Cahill Leonard has been hired to serve as the global tech practice leader and president of the San Francisco office. She has worked on programs for companies like NEC and Qualcomm.
