Roll Call: MSLGroup, Weber, Pandora, and More

Kate DiRanna has joined MSLGroup as SVP of entertainment marketing in the firm’s New York office. She will lead the entertainment group for the Americas. She was previously with Media Storm. [via MSLGroup site]

Julianne Whitelaw has joined Weber Shandwick as SVP and head of the corporate practice based out of the firm’s Silicon Valley office. She was previously the director of corp comms for Cisco, working with that company for more than a decade.

Simon Fleming-Wood has joined Pandora as the music company’s first ever CMO. He was previously the VP of marketing for Pure Digital Technologies. Pandora has 100 million users. [via Ad Age]

Widmeyer Communications has added two VP to its staff. Nona Richardson has joined in Washington D.C. and Marina Stenos in New York. Both execs will work with the PreK-12 education group. Richardson was previously the comms director for the DC Public Charter School Board. Stenos was previously an independent consultant.

Eric Becker has been promoted to VP of corporate communications for Starz Entertainment and Starz Media. He’s responsible for media relations and corporate affairs. He was previously executive director of corp comms for Starz.

The Worldcom PR Group, a consortium of independent PR firms from around the world, has announced its new board members for the rest of 2011 and 2012. Among those on the board for the Americas are Dorothy Pirovano, CEO of Public Communications, Inc., serving as regional chair, and Todd Lynch, VP and director of PR of St. John & Partners, serving as chair elect.
