Roll Call: RLM Finsbury, iAcquire and Caruso Affiliated

RLM Finsbury announced that Stephen Labaton will become U.S. president of RLM Finsbury. Labaton, an award-winning former senior writer at The New York Times who joined the company as Partner in 2012, succeeds Michael Gross, who was appointed chief executive officer of RLM Finsbury earlier this month. Paul Holmes will become managing partner of RLM Finsbury’s New York office, where he will lead the company’s U.S. talent acquisition and development initiatives and continue to head a range of major client assignments. Holmes joined RLM Finsbury in 2007 after a distinguished career in international journalism, including as global political editor for Reuters. Labaton and Holmes will also join RLM Finsbury’s global management committee to help guide the company’s continuing international growth. (Release)

iAcquire announced that Gabriella Salas has joined the agency as associate director of Content Strategy. Reporting to Tom Harari, iAcquire’s director of Strategy, Salas will articulate the vision for content strategy as an integral piece for clients, internally at iAcquire, and to the broader digital marketing community. Salas joins iAcquire from Adorama, where she was responsible for digital content strategy for the Adorama Learning Center and Adorama TV. She led the company’s editorial planning, guidelines and production, while leveraging analytics to get to the core of improving the company’s content distribution and creation. Prior to Adorama, she served as digital content strategy lead at Lomographic Society International in Vienna, Austria. In this role, she served as the in-house lead for web and print content. Caruso Affiliated announced the appointment of Judy Johnson as chief marketing and communications officer, a newly created role that will support Caruso Affiliated’s strategically expanding portfolio of projects throughout California. Effective April 14, 2014,  she will oversee all areas of the organization’s strong marketing, public relations, strategic alliances, and entertainment initiatives. Johnson comes to Caruso Affiliated after 17 years with GolinHarris. Most recently, she served as president of operations west of its Chicago headquarters, managing staff, senior client accounts, business development and operations for offices in Los Angeles, Orange County and San Francisco. She also served on the company’s global management team and helped lead a number of company-wide initiatives, including serving its g4 transformation team, which was on the forefront of the PR industry’s evolution into integrated marketing. While at GolinHarris, Johnson defined and managed award-winning, 360-degree brand campaigns across paid, earned, owned, and shared channels. (Release)
