Katina Scott has been appointed VP, brand planning director of the marcomms and branding firm Taylor. Scott will work with P&G, Novartis, and she’ll work with fellow VP, brand planning director Michelle Leo on brand planning across Taylor’s offices. Scott has previously worked with a number of companies including Euro RSCG and Kaplan Thaler Group.
Julie Freeman is stepping down as president of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) after a decade filling the role. The organization is searching for a replacement and aims to have a selection by year’s end. [via Ragan.com]
MSLGroup‘s Boston office has a new MD. Meghan Gross has been charged with building the firm’s business in the New England region. She was previously the director of comms for the law firm Foley Hoag LLP. She replaces Ed Cafasso. [via PRWeek]
Jeff Oldham has been named MD of D.C.-based 720 Strategies. He was previously a managing partner at Sextant Public Affairs.
Julie MacMedan has joined Demand Media as VP of IR. She was previously VP of IR and corporate communications at THQ Inc., the interactive entertainment company. MacMedan has 20 years of experience.
Sara Gramling has been named VP of PR at Magnolia Bakery. She had been consultant at Harrison & Shriftman. [via mb]
