Jeff Anderson has been promoted to director of corporate comms for the Minnesota Vikings, a new position. He began working with the team nine years ago as a PR intern. The Pollack PR Marketing Group is opening an office in New York City on September 1. The L.A.-based firm has chosen Mike Greece to lead the new office. Greece was previously the MD of the New York office of Padilla Speer Beardsley.
Hewlett-Packard’s CCO Bill Wohl is stepping down from his corporate communications responsibilities, PRWeek reports. Wohl is taking on a “special assignment” while Marty Homlish, the company’s EVP and CMO, is taking on the corp comms duties on an interim basis.
Charles Smith, former Olympian and professional basketball player, has joined the Zito Partners board of advisers. Smith was previously the executive director of National Basketball Retired Players Association.
