We're happy to announce that our longtime PRNewser freelance editor Joe Ciarallo will be joining the mediabistro.com team full time, effective today. Joe will be expanding on current PRNewser content as well as producing other PR related events, classes and Webcasts for Mediabistro. He has been with us from the start, working to grow PRNewser from its inception to one of the most widely read PR industry news sites.

He comes to us from the Horn Group, a digital communications agency in Manhattan, where he worked with a number of technology and digital media companies.

"It's been amazing to see how PRNewser has grown and changed over the last two years. From our humble beginnings as a Wordpress blog (hopefully the long time readers will remember those days) to being considered a key industry source of news, I think we're just getting started," said Ciarallo. "I can imagine one question people may ask will be about my awesome co-editor Jason Chupick. Jason is of course continuing to lend his well chosen words and insight to PRNewser and will remain on as co-editor."

Expect to see a lot more activity on PRNewser and more PR industry resources overall from mediabistro.com.
