Spin the Agencies of Record
In today’s installment, there’s distressed consumer debt (is there any other kind?), movie tickets, a competitive search, and a Mexican restaurant.
Encore Capital Group, a distressed consumer debt buying and recovery company, has selected MSLGroup as its global AOR. Peter Harris, the firm’s SVP and North American corporate practice lead, will work on a government affairs, IR, media relations, and reputation management program.
International site MovieTickets.com has chosen MWW Group as its AOR. Among the firm’s work, it will create and execute a social media and media relations plan.
Hoover’s has selected Shift Communications as its AOR after issuing an RFP to five firms, PRWeek reports. The information company’s previous AOR was Kwittken & Company, which didn’t compete for the work.
Chevy’s Fresh Mex, the chain of Mexican restaurants, has chosen three San Francisco agencies to serve as its marketing team: Duke PR for PR and local restaurant marketing; Hub Strategy & Communications for social media, branding, creative development, and advertising; and Cakewalk Creative for architectural and decor work.
