WANT!, a mobile photo-sharing app, has hired The Morris + King Company as AOR. The firm will reach out to audiences in the consumer and digital spaces. WANT! allows users to share photos across Facebook, Foursquare, Twitter, and Tumblr.
Ogilvy PR has resigned from its work with the California High-Speed Rail Authority. The two signed an agreement in 2009 worth $9 million. The authority says Ogilvy quit before the firm was to be fired and failed to “prove its value” since being hired. Ogilvy MD Michael Law says the two groups were unable to forge a relationship. Subway sandwich shops has chosen Upshot as its merchandising and promotions AOR. The firm will support promo deals and provide in-store marketing services. SVPs Rich Scarle and Jerry Craven will lead the account.
