Warschawski, a branding, PR, and advertising agency, has been chosen to strengthen the presence of Presence Switzerland and ThinkSwiss here in the U.S. Presence Switzerland is the Swiss outreach organization and ThinkSwiss is its U.S. program, which handles activities and events. In addition to other comms duties, Warchawski will help with a revamped website.
Syndicate Media Group has been chosen as AOR to launch Caliche Rum, a white rum produced by rum maker Roberto Serrallés and hospitality businessman (and Cindy Crawford hubby) Rande Gerber. The firm will work on social media strategy, events and sponsorships, partnerships, and more. Caliche Rum will launch during the first quarter of 2012 in Miami, Los Angeles, New York, Dallas, and Chicago.
Miami-based Schwartz Media Strategies has added seven new clients in recent months across its real estate, hospitality, and professional services practice areas: Apollo Bank, a local bank for small businesses; BrickellHouse, a condo development in Miami; Carrfour Supportive Housing, a nonprofit serving homeless individuals and families in Miami-Dade; Espacio USA, a Spanish developer that’s expanding into the U.S.; Hospitality Operations, a developer of Hampton Inn branded hotels; Lydecker Diaz, a commercial law firm; and Resorts World Miami, a project under development. The firm has brought on three staffers to help with the new work.
PRWeek reports that The McDonald’s Advertising Cooperative has hired Shift Communications as its AOR. The cooperative represents 300 McDonald’s restaurants in New England. Seven firms pitched. The list didn’t include the incumbent Bishoff Communications, which had been working with the group for more than decade. The account value is $400,000 per year.
