Spanish telecomm company Telefónica Digital is looking for a global PR firm, Holmes Report says. The company was formed last year and is looking to expand in the cloud computing, e-health, and mobile advertising spaces. They’re looking for a firm with digital expertise and the ability to work internationally.
GYMR Public Relations has announced its end-of-the-year account wins, which includes the American Board of Internal Medicine Foundation, the Banner Alzheimer’s Institute, the Institute for Health Technology Studies, and about a half dozen other companies. The firm is doubling in size in the Washington D.C. office this year.
Amway (yes, they’re still around!) has chosen Weber Shandwick for an R&D project, PRWeek is reporting. The firm has worked with Amway on other projects for the past 13 years.
MobileBits, a content delivery solutions company, has chosen KCSA Strategic Communications for a campaign following the company’s merger with Pringo Connect. KCSA will focus on IR and PR targeting investors, business, and trade publications. [via]
Kellwood Company has chosen Kaplow PR for services related to two of its brands: XOXO and Zobha. The firm was selected from a group of three. Kaplow works with other Kellwood brands, like Baby Phat. [via PRWeek]
