Konami Digital Entertainment named L.A./New York/San Fran agency Bender/Helper Impact as its North American PR AOR.

This isn’t the first time the two parties have worked together. Bender/Helper, which has developed a specialty in the gaming sector, also represented Konami in North America from 1997 to 2011, helping to promote classics like Metal Gear Solid and DanceDanceRevolution.

The new signing came right after Konami announced a new president, and the agency will work to increase awareness of new and forthcoming sequels to those very classics: Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2, DanceDanceRevolution: Classroom Edition, etc.

While we’re slightly disappointed to see no new Contra titles on the list, we do appreciate the impossibility of improving upon perfection.

Atlanta-based B2B tech agency Arketi Group will serve as search marketing AOR for Mobile Labs, LLC. Mobile Labs, which provides mobile app and device testing tools, looks to enhance its position within that specialized field via paid and earned campaigns as well as site improvements, original content offerings and social media marketing efforts.

Unfortunately, Mobile will never get to test the fake “are you drunk enough” app LIVR, though we have faith in the fact that someone will eventually make the concept workable.

Ogilvy has worked for more than two years to counter media misperceptions regarding the city and the country at large. Given the firm’s success in helping Mexico remind tourists that it’s “more than margaritas and mariachis“, we can certainly understand the decision.
