Keith Olbermann‘s latest version of his former MSNBC program Countdown with Keith Olbermann made its debut last night on Current TV. According to The Cutline, Current is in 60 million homes, transmits to the U.K., Ireland, and Italy, and clips from the new program will be available on the Current website a well as iTunes, xfinitytv.com, and Hulu.
The show and its prickly host got a lot of advanced media attention. And now with reaction to last night’s debut rolling in (the general consensus is the show is much the same as he was on MSNBC, with some additional rancor tossed in at Olbermann’s old colleagues), there’s additional media coverage this morning.
Coverage now is great, but Olbermann will certainly be looking to make headlines well into the future. That will ultimately benefit his program and all of Current TV.
