Spin the Agencies of Record

The Marine Stewardship Council has chosen Dentsu Communications after a competitive search. The MSC maintains a labeling system for seafood and eco-friendly fishing. That system was introduced in 1999. Dentsu will plan and execute an educational program that will teach the public about ways to make sustainable seafood a part of their lifestyle.

Burger King has chosen Coyne PR as its AOR after a competitive search. It was announced in July that the fast food company had split with previous AOR, Edelman. Work will focus on corporate and executive communications and comms surrounding nutrition, Ad Age reports. The magazine also says that Burger King has cut back on its PR spend.

Dentsu Communications was named AOR for the Siemens Foundation, which supports educational initiatives in science, technology, engineering, and math.

Vogue Tyre and Rubber, a company that’s nearly a century old, has chosen JMPR Public Relations as its AOR.

Conway Family Wines has selected Hanna Lee Communications as its AOR.

Susan Davis International has added four clients to its roster: Homes For Our Troops, which serves wounded veterans; the LUNGevity Foundation, a grassroots lung cancer research nonprofit; Code of Support Foundation, another nonprofit serving members of the military; and Armed Forces Services Federation, which provides services to the federal government.
