As individuals with neurological conditions, we have to discourage anyone from poking fun at what is clearly a medical problem, but this video clip of QVC guest host Cassie Slane fainting on live TV made its way around the Internet today, and we find it a little disturbing.

Slane is clearly not OK, yet her co-host Dan Wheeler doesn’t stop his sales message for even a moment as she apparently falls to the floor. Isn’t there a time for even the most dedicated marketer to pause and consider the well-being of his or her colleagues? We’re sure QVC has some kind of policy to apply to situations like this one, right?
