Yesterday, we spoke with Harjiv Singh, the co-founder and co-CEO of Gutenberg Communications, from New Delhi where he was wrapping up his firm’s work with “The Business and Entrepreneurship Summit.” Hosted by the U.S.-India Business Council, the event was a stop on President Barack Obama‘s visit to India.

Besides a discussion of the event and the impact that President Obama’s presence had, we talked about the Indian market, and Singh offered his advice for the many who are interested in doing just that.

“Patience is important,” he said. Singh added that with a population of more than one billion and 17 major languages, being clear about your target market is also critical.

After the jump, Ron Somers, president of USIBC, talks about the significance of PR in India.
