Quinn & Co., a PR firm headquartered in New York City, is opening an office in Miami this month. The firm, ranked top 10 nationally for travel and real estate, as well as in the top 50 for food, wine + spirits, has tapped Jim Lee as senior vice president to lead the new office. Jim, a veteran PR executive and business-development expert, is scouting Miami office space and spearheading Q&C’s growth in this market. Here Media Inc. has announced that Stephen Murray has been appointed to the newly created position of Senior Vice President, Marketing & Brand Strategy. Murray, most recently Senior Director, Brand Integration at iVillage/NBC Universal, will be based in the company’s New York office and report directly to Here Media’s Executive Vice President, Publishing, Joe Landry. McDonald’s hasn’t hired a new mascot, but it has appointed a new VP SVP of global external comms. Bridget Coffing has been promoted to the position (she was previously VP), in which she’s responsible for media relations, marcomms, internal communications, PR, and CSR. Anne Watkins has joined Primary Wave Music, a music branding, publishing, and talent management company, as director of PR. She was previously with Lizzie Grubman Public Relations. Among Primary Wave’s clients are Cee Lo Green (right), Eric Benet, and Steven Tyler.

Meghan Stuvvenberg has joined Savings.com, the online coupon site, as head of PR and community management. In her role, she’ll be in charge of media relations, deal syndication, and audience engagement. She was previously associate director of digital at Hill & Knowlton in Australia. Brian Lee has also joined the company as head of consumer experience, in charge of positioning the benefits of the site and its recent personalization launch. He comes from BabyCenter.com where he was director of product management.
