Roll Call: Judith McHale, Isobar, Teneo, and More

Judith McHale, the Undersecretary of State for Public Diplomacy, has announced she’ll be stepping down after two years in the position. The role is one that has been focused on “winning the hearts and minds” of Muslim populations around the world. It’s a job that we’ve characterized as “America’s Publicist.” Previous undersecretaries include James Glassman and Karen Hughes.  [via Heritage.org]

Sara Ramsey has joined global comms company Isobar as MD of the San Francisco office. Previously, she was the VP of account management at Real Branding. She is replacing Tara Moss, who is moving to another position within parent company Aegis Media North America.

McDonald’s hasn’t hired a new mascot, but it has appointed a new VP SVP of global external comms. Bridget Coffing has been promoted to the position (she was previously VP), in which she’s responsible for media relations, marcomms, internal communications, PR, and CSR. She joined the company in 1985 from GolinHarris. [via Chicago Business]

Anne Watkins has joined Primary Wave Music, a music branding, publishing, and talent management company, as director of PR. She was previously with Lizzie Grubman Public Relations. Among Primary Wave’s clients are Cee Lo Green (right), Eric Benet, and Steven Tyler.

Meghan Stuvvenberg has joined Savings.com, the online coupon site, as head of PR and community management. In her role, she’ll be in charge of media relations, deal syndication, and audience engagement. She was previously associate director of digital at Hill & Knowlton in Australia. Brian Lee has also joined the company as head of consumer experience, in charge of positioning the benefits of the site and its recent personalization launch. He comes from BabyCenter.com where he was director of product management.
